This
thermogram shows a 100-amp breaker with the phase A line side wire
heating. This problem may be corrected now with a minimum effort,
cleaning and tightening cost, of about $25.
Left
unattended the problem will likely become more intense and can cause a
total component failure or replacement of the breaker. Cost
approximately $500.

The thermogram shows overheating of a feeder
for a pump house. Correcting the problem can prevent component failure
and keep equipment running with optimal current.
Thermography clearly shows overheating
of this fuse clip in a coater power panel. Cleaning, tightening, and
replacing fuse prevented down time and a hazardous fire potential.
Thermography reveals a hazardous
condition caused by a loose and dirty connection to a Travani Vacuum
System Control Panel.
A faulty Sta-Kon Connector and loose
and dirty connection results in overheating to the connection on this

This is a 13.2 kV disconnect
feeding a textile plant.
The thermogram shows overheating of a disconnect. If
this problem was not corrected and failed, the results would be a
complete plant outage until a new disconnect could be installed.
